The luxurious 350 sqm villa is located in a picturesque Italian village on the shores of Lake Como. The name of the project, “Villa Melograno”, was chosen because the house is surrounded by a delightful botanical garden with beautiful pomegranate trees The villa consists of a living room, a dining room, a bedroom with a fireplace, a kitchen, five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Furthermore there are large terraces, a swimming pool and a private dock.
The house is full of sun. Early in the morning the warm light enters the rooms through the large windows giving a charge of vitality
The client gave carte blanche to the designers who developed the project based entirely on his professional tastes. The ancient building has literally been reborn. We have combined tradition and modernity in the “Villa Melograno” adding comfort and technology to history, enhancing the classic style, but with a new interpretation aimed at the future. The interiors of the villa are created using spectacular contrasts and accents. The premises turned out to be spacious, and their furnishings are not overloaded with details. Delicate floral decorations, plaster frames and architectural elements with protruding moldings have been applied to the walls.
Every single detail is made with care and attention.
The project was published in the magazine Ristrutturare con Casa Chic in June 2018.
